Mt Fuji needs no introduction and has become more and more popular for an amazing place to propose. Today we are exploring the 5 best spots that you can find near Mt Fuji, in Kawaguchiko, to make sure that she says yes!

1 - Nagasaki Park

Nagasaki park is a great spot if you are looking to get away from the crowd near the lake. Mostly accessible by car or by bicycle, you will be able to enjoy a splendid view to Mt Fuji and the lake, without having to deal with the usual crowd that stays either near the city or around the restaurants. Plus, if you are lucky, depending on the season, you might be able to have snow, cherry blossom or maple leaves to make the atmosphere even better. Walk close to the lake for the best view and ask her THE question!

2 - Oishi Park

This is hands down one of my favorite spot overall in Kawaguchiko. I would advise to get there by car, although you can by bicycle, but you will definitely get tired by the time you get up there. The view is just breathtaking.

If you can, go there early as this is when you will have the best chance to see Mount Fuji. And this spot is just a perfect one for proposal as well. Make sure to contact me to immortalize the moment!

4 - Shimoyoshida Honcho Street

Another iconic spot of Mt Fuji. Now this spot is closer to Kawaguchiko station, which means that if you want to have it to yourself, you want to go there very early. Be aware that there is also traffic and that the locals are fed up with people standing in the middle of the streets just for pictures. So timing is key.

5 - Retreat Camp Mahoroba
