Finding Beauty in Odawara Flower Garden and Miyuki Beach
As we discussed locations, I learned they were drawn to the Odawara Flower Garden. There's something special about flowers as a backdrop for newlyweds—they speak of growth, of beauty that unfolds gradually, much like a marriage itself. The couple already had their bouquet, another personal touch that would make their photos uniquely theirs.
Having photographed throughout Japan for years, I suggested we expand our canvas to Odawara Castle and Miyuki Beach for our journey. With my standard two-hour package, we could easily capture the diverse landscapes that make this region of Kanagawa so captivating. Just a few minutes' drive separated these locations—a perfect progression from structured garden beauty to historical grandeur and finally to the natural serenity of the shoreline.

The shoot unfolded like a visual story of their first day as a married couple.
