What to Expect From a Surprise Proposal Photoshoot
Planning a surprise proposal is exciting — and having it captured beautifully makes the moment even more unforgettable. If you're wondering what the experience is like, here's an inside look at how I handle surprise proposal shoots, so you can envision how your special day will unfold.
From Planning to Proposal: How It Works
The day before your scheduled shoot, I’ll send you a confirmation message via WhatsApp to review the details — including the time, meeting point, and any last-minute updates.
On the day itself, I arrive at the location at least 30 minutes early. This gives me time to scout the area, double-check the lighting and angles, and make sure everything is ready for your big moment.
Once I’m in place, I’ll guide you with clear instructions on where to stand and how to position yourselves. I’ll also ask you to send me your live location and a quick selfie so I can easily spot you from afar. Then, I get into position and wait for the perfect moment.
When the proposal happens, I’ll discreetly capture the moment as it unfolds — no interruptions, no posing. I stay out of the way so you and your partner can savor this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After the Proposal
Once the big moment has passed and you've had a chance to soak it all in, we’ll move into a relaxed couple portrait session. If you’ve booked a plan that includes multiple locations, we’ll transition smoothly to the next spot — whether by train or car, depending on the location.
If we’re traveling by car, I’m also happy to drop you off at the nearest station or your hotel nearby once the session ends.
After the Shoot
I’ll ask for both of your emails so I can send your photos directly once they’re ready. On the same day, I’ll send over 2–3 edited preview images so you can share the exciting news with friends and family.
The full gallery of edited photos is usually ready within 3–4 days. You’ll receive access to a private online gallery, which stays live for one year. All photos are downloadable in high resolution, and the link can be easily shared with loved ones.
If you’re ready to plan your proposal photoshoot or have more questions about the process, I’m here to help.
